Tucson is set to be a Sellers Market for 2017

According to Betty Beard from the Tucson Sentinel, 2017 is looking to be a Sellers Market based on current trends and the low Housing Inventories. According to Betty “2016 was a good year for Pima County” with “the total number of homes sold grew 11 percent to 14,804 in the first 11 months of the year”.  Even Realtor.com has be reported saying “that Tucson would be the ninth hottest housing market in 2017 (and Phoenix the first) because of expected population and economic grouth”.  Prices are expected to increase around 6% and the homes sold to grow to around 5.5% during 2017.
